Made in Bengal from vintage sarees. Two layers held together by hand stitched kantha work. The belts are typically brilliantly coloured but being individually made each will vary from the next in colour and pattern.

• This kantha belt was made from recycled saris, stitched together using kantha needlework. The small groups of women who make these items work through a not-for-profit organisation that supports them in business and marketing. Because the saris are sourced individually and hand stitched together no two belts will be the same.
