• This table mat was hand crafted from hemp in Thailand, by artisans that specialise in macramé and crochet work. This cottage industry provides an income for local women, an elderly man and a young Burmese refugee woman. Hemp is imported from Laos, where it is grown by hill tribes originally from China.
